A clever Christmas menu of giving

Another homeless-related post. This rather neat DM campaign fell out of my brand-name Christmas television guide today, and it made me look again. Perhaps it was my stomach rather than my conscience doing the thought processing, but I think this Crisis ‘Christmas Menu’ is a clever take on the well-used charity ‘shopping list’ of how your donation can be invested.

Some of it is a bit dry, sure (mmm yummy, main course of “specialist services”), and a little woolly (“New Hope” for dessert anyone?), but I really like the concept – it’s a seasonal twist on an inescapably ubiquitous charity function: the fundraising ask.

And it even made me fill out the form, and give. Now…pass the party food, I really am quite peckish.
